QUICK ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Who owns the copyright to comics published on MU-Komik?

Copyright remains with the creator or lawful rights holder. Uploading a work does not transfer its copyright to MU-Komik. Creators allow MU-Komik to store, display, and process their work as needed to provide and operate the service. Read Terms and Conditions for the full explanation.

Why are works stored on MU-Komik’s service?

Comic files need to be stored on a digital service so they can be processed and shown to readers on the site. This storage is part of operating the service; it does not transfer copyright. Use of the work remains subject to the applicable permissions and terms.

May readers copy or republish comics?

Not without permission from the creator or authorized rights holder. A comic being available to read on the site does not mean it may be copied, reuploaded, sold, or used for other purposes.

What is the difference between a comic, an episode, and a page?

A comic is the complete work or series. An episode is one published installment of a comic. A page is one image or reading page within an episode.

What does “Part” mean in Kids Mode?

“Part” is a simpler term for an episode in the Kids Mode reading view. It is still an installment of the same comic.

Are all comics available in the same language?

Not always. A comic’s language depends on the content provided by its creator. Check the title and information on the comic page before you start reading.

How can I find out a comic’s access requirements?

Read the access information on the comic page or offer before continuing. Do not assume a label or plan name promises benefits beyond those described.
