This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use MU-Komik.com, why it is needed, and how we handle it.

By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described on this page.

Data We Collect

Account data: email address, display name, and account role when you sign up or sign in.

Reading activity: comics and chapters you open, your last page position, and read markers for chapters.

Data you submit: messages sent through the contact form, comments, or works you upload as a creator.

Technical data: device and browser type plus other basic information needed to run the service.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies to keep you signed in, store an anonymous visitor identifier, and remember your Kids Mode status.

The visitor identifier is a random code that contains no name, email, or phone number.

Display preferences such as theme and text size are stored in your browser's local storage.

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. After that, sign-in sessions, on-device reading progress, and Kids Mode may stop working.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate, such as reader counts and device types.

Google may process information such as IP address and page interactions under Google's privacy policy.

We also record internal visit statistics in our own database without linking them to a reader's identity.

Third-Party Service Providers

Supabase is used for authentication and the database, Cloudflare for hosting and asset delivery, and object storage for images and comic files.

Tripay is used to process membership payments. We do not store your card number or payment credentials.

Ads may be served through third-party ad networks that can use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.

How We Use Data

We use data to provide the service, save reading progress, process memberships, answer your questions, keep the Platform secure, and understand how the site is used.

We do not sell your personal data to other parties.

Kids Mode

The Kids Mode PIN is not stored in our database. It is hashed and kept in a signed cookie on your device.

Parents can turn Kids Mode off at any time with the same PIN.

Storage and Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active or as long as needed for the purposes described on this page.

Visit statistics may be stored in aggregate form for a longer period.

Data Security

We limit access to data, use encrypted connections when data is transmitted, and review permissions on the services we use.

Even so, no system is completely risk-free. If you suspect a data leak, contact us through the contact page right away.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us through the contact page.

We will follow up on such requests in line with applicable law.

Policy Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service or applicable regulations.
